I do something each time even if it isnt much (never is). Aiming to be a 50% invested each paycheck household within the next 10 years. No kids, simple lifestyle, very little debt so hopefully that goal will be achievable at some point.

These days it’s over 50% post tax. My wife has a couple of side hustles with tutoring and her own business. Almost all of that gets saved and invested.

Right now we pay 1.5x the mortgage. We currently get better returns on our investments than the interest rate we pay for the mortgage. If that changes, we will pay down more of the mortgage. Same goes for our cars too.

We live pretty well below our means to the point where we have it pretty comfortable but I’ve been saving and investing by significant percentages for over 15 years now. We occasionally splurge on nice things but usually when we make a smart investment that pays off and we spend the windfall on something nice. Because I’ve been saving and investing these last 15 years, these windfall opportunities happen every couple of months now. Sometimes we don’t splurge at all and just keep it in the investments.

I invest about 30% of my pre-tax paycheck. 95% goes into VTI because I am not a retard.

The other 5% I do individual stocks or sometimes options with.

Shitcoins are the stupidest thing you can "invest" in, by the way. Any crypto is pretty retarded to invest in but anything that isn't bitcoin or ethereum has next to 0% chance of ever taking off

Only invest into crypto what you'd normally spend on booze. That's the rule.
