How possible would it be to make a documentary on Chris?

I mean there's so much information and footage on Chris that I don't doubt that it would be a fascinating watch which is why I want to make one but the realities of the situation might be huge road blocks to getting it made. Which is why I have a few questions. Are all of Chris's videos that he made himself under his copyright even though he released them for free on youtube and does not appear to profit off of them? Because if I had to pay Chris to use his videos that would pretty much nip that in the bud real quick based on the amount of money I would probably have to pay him before he agreed to legally let me use his footage. Now assuming I have the ability to use his footage without his permission, would the movie be interesting just using archive footage to construct a narrative or would it have to include interviews? I would love to be able to interview all of the major players but the reality of the situation would be that there's no way in hell Chris would allow me to interview him for this and other potentially interesting interview subjects like Megan, the Wallflower, Rocky, Mary Walsh etc. would most likely either be impossible to track down and would want nothing to do with the project if I did manage to find them. I'm sure I could manage to interview a few of the trolls but without the people who actually knew Chris in real life's involvement I just don't think the interviews would be as effective. Either way, I'm just curious as to what people's opinions on this would be.
