Personally I think the movie is meant to be a satire On the then changing landscape of western animation. Keep in mind by 2005 2d animation was more or less dead as the dodo and studios were all agreeing 3d cgi was the way if the future. In the movie big wield is an old fashioned kind of robot that had a kind optimistic sense of wonder and his replacement is a cold souless realist only interested in the bottom line . You definitely see parallels to the old way of thinking about animation in the days of men like Walt Disney Chuck jones, Friz freeling ect and the new ways according to Jeffrey katzenburg and Micheal esiner

Robots is not without its flaws, but is an interesting and enjoyable movie nonetheless. It was one of my favorites growing up and I actually watched it again recently. The character and world design is probably its biggest strongpoint, along with voice acting (I like how literally everything is consistently robotic and made of machinery). Simply put, it does not need to be slandered in this way. There was no genderspecial message behind this 2005 animated kids film with toilet humor and our lord and savior Robin Williams (BUH) making an anime reference. The theme of Robots, if it has one, it the concept of change and nostalgia for the perceived "good old days" (Bigweld) in the face of modernity (being "outmoded"). That theme is 10x better than any message about gender norms or whatever.

These people trying to reclaim jokes that would otherwise be considered harmful to their group as "empowering" is hilarious.

Thank goodness they fixed the algorithm so that kids are no longer targeted by dangerous radical Youtubers like any of the Sargon of Akkad-Lites type posters, attempting to lure in kids with videos like this that apply garbage Breadtube-style analysis is good, though. This isn't trying "radicalize" kids at all.

It's good that now kids are growing up being inundated with this weird psychosexual trash and hobbies like vidya games and all are being infested with woke weirdos and watching disgusting trash like Contrapoints. In the 2000s kids spent time online playing Flash games, watching animations at places like Newgrounds and generally just playing around. Now you have all of these kids who publically post their worries on social media about whether or not they can watch or play something because their favorite Youtuber personality hasn't said if it's based queer ancom.
