"How to buy Bitcoin"

Are VPNs illegal in your country or something?
No.
The question has to be, who are you defending yourself against in this scenario, and why will using crypto help?
So far, I'm using just for the "novelty" aspect of it and I'm also trying to be more privacy conscious (tough I understand Bitcoin is not exactly anonymous or private).

Normalfag VPNs talk a hella game when sponsoring on youtube.
when slapped with a court order - suddenly the users find out connection histories have been archived and cross-referenced for 7 years...

So, purely out of academic curiosity, what are the best ways to buy BTC with cash these days? Ideally in ways that involve no/minimal KYC. I had heard of localbitcoin, but someone earlier in the thread said that had been pozzed. What are good alternatives?

The best way is having a friend(s) who do the bitcoin thing. Next best is to look for crypto-meetups in your area. Some bitcoin ATM machines exist and require no KYC for small amounts, but that depends on the provider and most are surveilled in some way.

I am sure that someone else will have better recommendations for you.

Is it worth investing right now?

Will cryptos be stable in the future, if I want to keep my savings as crypto?

Figured; thought I should ask.

But if I were to invest a considerate size of my savings, should I expect them to be about as valuable in the future?

If you've got money burning a hole I'd suggest XMR instead of BTCore.
Any particular reason? i'm a newfag when it comes to crypto and I've been wanting for a dip to happen to buy some. Why did you suggest XMR instead of going with BTCore? What's the difference? I thought bitcoin was the safer bet?

All information found on this board is factually incorrect. This website is ran by a homeless man. No fiduciary on earth even knows what this place is.

is already scum and should be beheaded. Inshallah.
(not musim advice, not muslim adviser)

Personally, I will be buying some BTC soon. I think the panic is running down. My feelers say - end of June is the time.
I moved my investments to petroleum in April. Boy howdy. Made more in the last 2 months than the last 2 yrs.

No worries, mate. I was only going to buy some to donate to the Farms, not drop my entire life-savings into crypto ;)

I regret not drop a few hundred into stocks - I just never liked playing with stocks because it feels like gambling and I'm not a gambler. But now I'm thinking I should look more into other revenues besides employment because employment is so fragile these days and the rug can get pulled out from under a person so easily.

June's end, hey? Another Farmer has been guiding me in crypto and pointed me to Blockchain.com and I sneak a peek every once in a while; BTC looks like it's slowly beginning to climb again. I'd like to get the most bang for my buck so I hope it doesn't get too pricey again before I get a wallet set up.

Monero (XMR) is a lot cheaper, so I was wondering if it'd be better to buy it instead of BTC or if it's going to go the way of doge coin.

And somehow you ended up with digital currency as a solution?, throwing money in a wishing well?. I would take another look at stock trading if i were you, while it is kinda gambling and certainly not safe from corruption, at least there is a company behind stocks instead of an east European con-man.

We all invest in fiat, every paycheck.
That investment aint doing so good these days - price of gas and food...

BTC goes up and down.
Fiat goes down.

So far i see bitcoin seems heavily tied to fiat and is going down with it, and bitcoin has been steadily going down for over half a year now.

Uh... no? I don't know where the fuck you drew that conclusion from given that I stated in my very first sentence that I was only buying a little bit of crypto to donate it.

In the paragraph where I mentioned stocks I stated that I'll be investigating the prospects of getting some in the near future in order to substitute my income. No where in that paragraph did I even suggest that I would be throwing my money into crypto as a means of income. From my limited understanding stocks pay out dividends, that's how you make money off them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but crypto doesn't pay out anything. The only thing you get from crypto is buying and selling at the right time to make any money from it. Otherwise you just pay for the novelty of watching a bunch of numbers go up and down.

Monero isn't likely to pull a Bitcoin and go parabolic. It's also not a meme coin like Doge. It's a privacy coin, it has a good use case and has remained relatively stable. "But it's been going down in price." Yes, most things have, the markets are shit and people are expecting more Fed hikes on top of all of the craziness in the world. If I was to give you a piece of advice I'd say to look into Ethereum as an investment. It'll likely always be the silver to Bitcoin's gold, but I think it has more growth potential. If you're just looking to donate to Null then Bitcoin and Monero, in that order make the most sense to me.

My apologies for drawing the wrong conclusion on my part, somehow stocks were changed into crypto in my head....
And yes you are right.

I'm not certain BTC and fiat are heavily tied.
Plus, there are MANY fiat currencies that you can buy BTC with

Also,
the US fiat has been plummeting for well over half a year.
Every product I purchase - amount has nearly been halved and still the price rises.
