Hello everyone.

I understand this is a forum dedicated to chronicling Christian Weston Chandler, the adult autistic child.

I must say, my friends and I here in Italy have found him humorous, but we also feel sad for him and wish to help him. I realize he cannot change his mind, but at least he can be given friendship and material aid.

Christmas is coming up, and his looks like a sad and lonely one. Unlike most of us CWC will not get many good presents, have loving family and friends to keep him company, and little in the way of presents or nutritious food.

My friend and I wish to contact him so we can ask him what he needs? what kind of food, wine, blankets, clothing, and delectables would he and his poor mother like?

My friend and I are debating whether to ask our church's priest to mention him in our prayers, as well as making him a charity cause for our congregation.

Please give me some advice!

PS Im not Pope Francis really! He is a very holy man.. I just think he is a good role model, thats why I chose him as a name!!

Unfortunately, OPL has deteriorated to the point where any contact from outside that he didn't initiate upsets him. Kudos to you and your friends for your generosity and Christmas sprit, but I would suggest you reach out to another family having hard times that will be more receptive to your kindness.

However, if you want to pray for him and have your church pray for him, go for it. It's about all you can do unless he makes himself receptive.

The most beneficial help Chris can get is from himself. Unfortunately, he refuses even self-help...

Are you implying that Christian Weston Chandler and his mother are needy and poor? Next, you'll be telling us they go to soup kitchens! You must be some kind of ludicrous fool, sir or madam.

Well I wont send him any Italian food or wine if it will be thrown out or go to waiste!

I will ask our priest to pray for him... but better not get into too many details.... :(

LOL funny thing! You know CWC's school PVCC? I think it must be named after the region in Italy I come from! Piedmont! Lol!

Your act of kindness is well-intentioned, OP, but worthless. Chris does not accept any kind of help thanks to his paranoia that everyone that is not his mother and "friends" are going to troll him. Besides, there are families out there that could use more food, shelter and clothing than OPL. He already got everything handed to him in a silver platter. There is no need to give him anything.

Chris is stubborn and won't accept anyone's help. It's exactly the reason he is the way he is.
