"Porch Monkey" is the greatest slur in the english language. I'm also partial to the classic "Spook" and "Spade". No other language comes close.

Mulignan' is the napulitano word for egg plant, it's melanzane in regular italian and not used as a slur there. There's also tizzun', angliziced as titsun or titsoon by italo-americans, which means charcoal briquette (tizzone in regular italian, people from Naples love to swallow the end vocals of words).

Is negro ever used?

I thought negretto would be a dimunitive? It kinda sounds like you’d say it for the one basketball enjoyer that you like?

I’m trying to learn Italian at the moment so would appreciate learning how to gamerword correctly in standard Italian.

Amusingly enough there is a Polish word - nygus - that's looks and sounds close to nigger but comes from French nigaud . The meaning can be something like nigger, but it used to mean something like layabout or lazybones, which fits niggers well enough.

BTW I just checked nigger on Wiktionary and I've learned so many wonderful synonyms that I didn't know before. Thanks Wiktionary!

I don't really keep up with Polish progressives' ideas on words but around 20-30 years ago Murzyn was just a neutral term for a black man, Murzynka for a black woman.
Hell, a chocolate cake is called Murzynek (small negro) still.
 
"Niga" means "is" or "the" in Japanese. Can't remember which, but it's one or the other.

That's how I saw that word: a neutral descriptor. Of course, the screeching ninnies in Poland decided that it was bad even though it's possible that it descends from the word "Moor".
