"I want to see reactions I've received because I forget where I post."
1. https://kiwifarms.st/account/reactions
2. Go to your recent content (the link is different per user).

You can also try watching threads more often. These give alerts and appear in a custom list here:

You can also automatically watch any thread you post to. Conversely, you can turn off alerts for watched threads and only view them by the Watched Threads page.

"I want to see my reaction score."
You can't. reddit still does.

I determined that the ongoing tally of your score is bad for the community. The score itself is meaningless. The values of reaction scores are arbitrary. Reactions are seldom used correctly. Examples: "Lunacy" is negative, and is meant for posts which themselves are insane, but are often applied to posts which link to insane content. We have a score literally called "Islamic Content" which has no meaning and is a -1 point; it is often applied to any post which references Islam. It is a 10-year-old joke and absolutely does not reflect the value of a post.

"Why were they disabled?"
The instant feedback negatively impacted the site. It provoked strong emotional reactions, caused infighting, and prompted behaviors which are detrimental to the community. It trained end users to operate the site in a way which discouraged casual conversation, promoted clique behavior, and disincentivized exploring the site to find less active threads to make more active. It also encouraged users to post very low effort messages to farm reactions for alerts as a dopamine reward, such as going to featured threads and making the most surface level observations as quickly as possible. See this post for more details about the very long history in which staff have had to deal with drama.

"But I use them?"

"Can't they be made optional?"
No. The people who would go out of their way to specifically enable alerts for reactions are likely specifically the people I want to discourage from looking at reaction scores as frequently.

I'll review how things are going a month from now. Screaming at me, threatening me, promising to wtihold donations you'd never make, etc will not convince me to do anything sooner. If this somehow kills the site, it did not deserve to live. Thanks.
