Did something new get released from this leak? There's some chatter about a MVC2 partial source leak in the preservation channels and that's new and somewhat exciting if true. Maybe the FGC can live again.

I'll be honest. I don't think Capcom could make a game be as good looking as CvS2. They kinda peaked with the sprites (the new ones, not that shitty reused Morrigan sprite), the presentation, THE FUCKING SOUNDTRACK, but also just with an awesome blend of gameplay with Grooves and the ratio system.

KoF XV will probably be the closest thing we'll get in terms of that feeling, which honestly I'm okay with.

Capcom now can still make a good fighting game, but they've lost that touch from that generation which would just make a CVS3 feel more like a MVC:I.

Why is Capcom of all companies going turbo-woke right now?

Are they focusing more resources into the West Coast? Do they really think this will win them favor in America?

They finally realized ten years too late that they have no new ideas and nothing to offer. But the woke crowd are not very discerning and throw money at you if you tell them what they want to hear.

I believe this is their second attempt (DmC 2013 was a result of their first). After they killed off their creative team with the disolution of Clover Studios all they have left are a bunch of IP's more stale than crackers in a pirate ship and IP's that hold potential but have no idea how to work with because they fired and trashed the brains behind them (See: Okamiden).

Their attempts at trying to appeal to the west come from their latest huge projects actually performing well overseas (With the exception of RE3), they're trying to abandon their japanese core audience in a fashion similar to Sony in order to capitalize on those earnings and similarly as to how their first endeavour to appeal to the west went they're listening to critics and their ultra woke audiences. It doesn't help the fact that from their perspective the audience looks really big because of the social movements in the west.

I expect for them to put out some ultra woke games in the years to come that will drive them close to bankrupcy similarly to their situation in 2013 and then they will pull the brakes and try to recapture their core audience with nostalgia bait again.

Such is the way of Capcom.

The TL;DR is that whoever fired Hideki Kamiya was a retard.

They surely forget the spergout of chunni Nomura and KH3 being played&leaked before it's release.

Once there is info about the whole game there will be less buyers, just ask Cuckmann.
 
Disappointing , no leak of a RE : CVX remake/remaster. I would of been happy with a steam release with cheevos and stuff. Or a Dino Crisis remake. Oh well maybe one day.

Save for all the woke ventures that actually lost money and the indies that went bankrupt from it.

They don't buy things from corporations -- I sincerely doubt they go out of their way to buy Nikes or Coca Cola for that matter, either, despite both companies' efforts to court them. They'll throw donations and shit like that towards... fuck, what's a good word... "the needy" will have to suffice, where they give money to people who look like they aren't a big corporation or are in need to support their dreams. Never mind they could easily be from rich families, the idea that they're just them sells. Even then shit like The Sunset - despite government handouts - went bankrupt because it had a corporate feel to things. They prefer shit like they're on some internet commune. Otherwise, they pirate.
