If the person who wrote that tweet probably thinks in their thumbnail and think that looks a real woman as opposed to what looks like a member of a glam metal tribute band, their opinions probably aren't the most sound.

I think it should be fine. Village is a nice looking game but it's not so graphically impressive that you say "wow" or anything.

You know, I'll back @Sinner's Sandwich on this one. Despite the fact Capcom has a history of fucking up just when they start to get good again, I think it'll be fine on the current-gen consoles.

RE8 isn't promising everything and the kitchen sink like Cyberpunk did. It seems pretty straight forward in its aims and AFAIK, it's not a big open world release either. Cyberpunk 2077 was too extensive and tried to be everything all at once, and a PS4 release couldn't handle it.

Part of me thinks the initial announcement to have it be a next-gen exclusive was a marketing strategy to drive up console sales.

In all fairness, RE8 was first announced in late 2019/early 2020 for the next-gen consoles before were either one of them even given official release dates.
