Socrates, the father of Stoic Philosophy. a Smelly stoic Hippy whom romed the Agora of Athens constantly questioning why people are acting like major dumbasses to assess who the "Wisest Man" is after consulting some Oracles. Managed to just by questioning people create political upset and a string of students for pointing out the flaws of Athenian democracy. how would YOU think Socrates would act, think, or interact with today's western Societies?

he would probably immediately snap his own neck after learning that in a world where the majority of humanity has instantaneous access to the largest wealth of information/knowledge/wisdom in history and the ability to instantly communicate across the planet, common discourse is in a worse state than it has ever been.

Given what he thought of the written word as a medium for expressing ideas, he'd probably lament the fact that we are increasingly communicating via text and social media rather than exchanging thoughts with one another in person.

He would immediately be labeled a racist/Nazi/Right Wing Extremist and relegated to the dark corners of society, where, seeing as he couldn't get a job for being an incredible teacher and intelligent man, and would have no useful skills in today's society, would probably end up living the rest of his life out as a heroin junkie, or at best that one annoying know-it-all stoner. So kinda the same thing as he did before.
There are too many things you can't be honest or use logic on in today's society, for Socrates to be an influential figure, at least as he was. I guess if you wanna get all super-fanfiction about it, we could make it where like a clone of Socrates is born into today's society and just have the question be what would someone of his intelligence do.

This is also probably true of most Historical figure before, say, 2 or 3 hundred years ago. We'd have more to learn about how things were in their time than things they could add to our time with their great intelligence.

Socrates was a faggot. He was a proto-christian. Autistic nerd trying to dialectically "debate" and "rationally" argue with the Reality. As Nietzsche said, "Socrates was plebs".

It goes without sayin he'd fit perfectly into modern society. He's no different from any current year talk show host.

He'd probably be an incel, NEET, BoPo activist, or some other label along those lines considering the reason he started sperging about philosophy was that he was so ugly no man wanted to have sex with him. I mean, he had to impress them somehow.

But seriously, if you pick apart his lectures, there's not much there other than pedantic circlejerking. He'd probably had a mildly popular tumblr blog or, if lucky, occasionally post some articles on the Guardian or HuffPost.
