So it should be the Georg Keller thread in and off itself, and of course all the posts in it.

Removing specific posts will NOT help help us, just that you don't get the false impression. There is no point in refering to a specific post as "hatespeech" is redefined when benificial.

I vaguely remember the federal governemnt talking about installing "Hasspostings" Units to combat "Hatespeech" earlier that year, so it is nothing Null made up, of course.

(for our anglo readers: The advocates for german hatespeech laws usually use the english term, and more rarely the german translation "Hassrede". You can see where the idea came from. The truth is that it used to be acceptable to kick the Jews out of every country whose culture they try to subvert until Germans came along. This used to be the case when individual countries had the autonomy required to control their population, culture and economy to benefit themselves. Jews could be expelled on one side of Europe, and the other side of Europe wouldn't know until weeks later. Today a message can cross Europe in mere milliseconds: we've shrunk the world and national problems are now, no thanks to globalism, international problems. Nowadays jews can kvetch about other jews being persecuted from an entirely different continent. Jumping on the bandwagon and blaming Germany for losing a war 80 years ago (that they didn't technically start) is a very one-dimensional and boring way to look at things.

I think that despite quite a number of issues with America, the country may very well be the most free country on this planet.

Western European and Canadian governments are going very woke, and even minor "wrongthink" on the internet can get one in big legal trouble there - especially in Germany now. In communist and a number of developing states, criticizing the government is a no-no. Japanese society is very conformist, and there's no "fair use" in copyright law there - jail time for even minor copyright infringement (or so I heard). And of course Australia became an authoritarian dystopia with "The New Normal" and coronapanic.

I suspect it's more likely that Null is working with someone (perhaps counsel) to determine exactly how this could affect him, now that his servers are "raw on the internet" and he has fingers touching various countries including EU ones. He doesn't want a "legal battle imported into Canada/US" situation to occur.

Meanwhile he takes a step he knows he can as soon as he can (block germans) and tries to delay for 30+ days so the IP logs get wiped. Changing the rules on how long he keeps IPs when under a request is a no-no.

Also I very likely suspect Null has provided a minimum amount of information so that the persons involved will know who he is talking about.

I think it is 30 days but I can't find where that's official. The privacy policy doesn't state it, but that may be out of date as it still refers to reCAPTCHA.
