So since I was mentioned and then the post was deleted before I could respond, I think I should clarify what I had meant:

If you want to get unbanned, you needed to wait a while and show that you had changed the sort of behavior that got you banned. I also mentioned that after you brought it into the spiderman thread it was unlikely that you would get unbanned.

Also, most importantly, I told you that @Trombonista was a bitch and if she was the one who banned you it was probably a waste of time to pursue it, because she is a bitch.

My posts in that thread were their own level of awful. I could drink 30 beers right now and still post leagues better than what got me banned.

Also, why does it matter who banned me? Anyone with control over that forum can unban me; I told you that in the PM and you said "alright, you can try".

Because moderators are generally going to respect eachother's wishes, so its going to be a lot harder to get a moderator to step in on your behalf to go against the wishes of another moderator that is actively against you being unbanned than it is to just convince any moderator that a ban everyone has forgotten about is worth revoking. Also, if you got perma banned from a thread you can't just say "well I have been making posts that meet the bare minimum of avoiding a sitewide ban" and expect it to be overturned. You have to be on your best behavior and avoid drawing negative attention to yourself.
