Have you ever lived in a city and seen the kind of shit you get as an apartment? Seriously, I've lived in an apartment where the first room was a kitchen and there was a fucking bathtub in it, too, and the toilet was in a room like a closet where you couldn't even close the door because your legs were too long.

yes, this. luckily my bathtub is contained, but my living area is a 12'x12' square with a corner by the door dedicated to kitchen space. ~cities~
 
From the description you've given, it sounds like your best chance of identifying the attacker could be a trip to the incels forum.
