Its an intersting idea tbh, but the site would need to find (or create) its own token issuer. The "token" is your proof that your client/device is not a bot and gets granted by a trusted party. But considering the only token issuers I can find are fastly and cloudflare I take it that the site will be excluded from this, which is a shame, I like new tech.

As someone else pointed out, this seems to further centralize proof-of-humanity. Cloudflare is one of the PAT issuers, so we're preemptively banned from half the providers of this.

FYI this particular thing (Privacy pass) is luckily not a proprietary Apple service, it’s an open IETF standard. However as you said, its further centralization which won’t help right now.
