That is precisely what is already happening socially, but institutionally you're seeing tech oligarch trying their hardest to stop that and will go on witch hunts like this to prevent that. Some governments(like Canada right now) are trying to pass censorship laws to prevent that pendulum swing by heavily moderating what you can see on the internet. Elon's aquisition of twitter has governmental and institutional entities shitting bricks and causing them to lose their grip on the said pendulum, and the kiwi farms is showing whether or not it is truly possible to be out of the clutches of those powers. This is why what null/josh is doing is extremely important for the future of the internet, and why it is important to keep going.

Pretty much everyone I've spoken to about this stuff IRL thinks that troons are creepy coomer men (privately at least - very few would ever voice their opinions publicly out of fear). The divide between what normal people actually think and what we're supposed to think is almost laughably vast.

It makes it all the more astonishing how much sway a small minority of utter freaks can have. Not only to influence the debate, but to utterly crush and censor any dissent. They know how few people actually believe that they're women, and perhaps that's why they're so rabid about tipping the scales. What they don't realise is that every time they shut down a site like this, they just turn more people like me who were neutral into virulent opponents...
