Despite the MSM telling me Russia is a totalitarian ethnostate that wants to take over the world, Yandex is representative of something like 2012 Google.

Sure there was that scandal at one point where the Yandex crawler was too good, it was picking up the nude modelling pictures hosted in the hidden areas of fashion websites of the same children that were previously modelling the clothing. But that hole seems to be have been plugged now.

You don't need to know what really goes on in the modelling industry.

So does this stop here? Both in what they can do to try to run the farms offline, and these assholes doing shit like this?

Because if the first is true, and this is the last stop then it's nice to know there's only so much that can be done to the site, and if the second is true then hopefully these idiots fuck up and start going after sites people aren't going to just ignore going down.

They fixate and have the backing of a managerial class of people, particularly women who infantalize them. It's difficult to opt out when your unqualified managers force you to interact with them or when they make the company participate in pro-alphabet people activities/organizations.

First, Null has said they can't knock us off Tor. The can DDoS the site, but KiwiFlare means it's here to stay. If they can't evict our servers from the data center, the next best thing is to limit our exposure, which means keeping us off the clearnet for as long as possible (ideally forever.)

They're coming after us both to refine their technique and because we're an easier and more acceptable target than, say, Breitbart. But mark my words, if they succeed with us, they'll go after something less offensive than us. And then something else. And then something else. And soon, the entire internet will become Reddit.

I said as much in not so many words. I don't want to be happy about it per se but knowing that the assholes who've turned a blind eye to all of this are next in line does give a certain amount of schadenfreude.

The uncertainty comes from not knowing if dong-gone is accomplishing this by himself, as he does have a specific reason to not want the farms up.
