OK, so my hot take of "them being lazy and being surprised by 100 complaint emails and saying fuck it" sounds pretty close to what actually happened. I do get the argument that if you go to "sources" like Wikipedia and Cloudfare, well, we are the devil (though using the Wikipedia as a source for anything, shame on you), but still, it drives me up the wall how easy it is to defame in an ouroboros of bullshit and you can't do shit about it. But the most important thing is that they were transparent enough to inform Null of their intent AND after a proper appeal from him, reconsider their stance. So just for that, they have had the biggest balls in all this shitshow by a county mile.
Also, I don't doubt farmers sent angry emails. It's one thing to send informative stuff, another to go full REEEEE. Let's not go REEEE please. I imagine trannies will also do false flags, but you can't really differentiate between one or the other anyway, so lets at least keep our house tidy. Best option is to realistically leave the Greeks alone since getting constant traffic of emails when there usually isn't any even if it's for thanks may be jarring.
Now the real danger is the Greek authorities. I have no idea how this is supposed to work out. Does HARICA open an investigation with Greek police? is this just a throw away comment to give some weight to the it's not over but no real action will be taken and hope it blows over (personally hoping for this one)? Does an investigation even exist? Will they communicate with forces from other regions like the US which is where the site itself is hosted or does it purely go through Greek law?. What will the Greek police even do to verify anything? If they just do another Wiki and Cloudfare communication session, we are back to square one, and it's not like you can find much of anything that actually bats for the farms. And well, that's leaving aside any chances of "girl talk" happening against the police this time. Unless the Greek police is surprisingly based from the outset, this could just be some extra breathing room for a few weeks/months however long the investigation takes.
