I checked the post times on the thread for cogent.
This was the "jobless posting" hours. Those of us with things to do during business hours didn't get a chance to ride in like the cavalry before the thread was locked.

That said, I will pick on Null for one thing:
I was using his "tier list" to shop my ISP's.
I don't think cogent was listed there, or maybe I was blind, but now I'm stuck with a cogent upstream when I could have given the sales rep an earful about the need to terminate them and get others.

Many of us are quietly enjoying the forum and what it has to offer and find no need to complain, even in the event of compromise it's likely far more people understand it than it might appear. The loudest voices likely do not represent the majority, if anything about our present era has taught us something it's that.
