I heard somewhere that so many young people are constantly glued to their smartphones that they are effectively working with just a single free hand, as the other hand is always holding the smartphone, even for tasks that really require 2 free hands. Now I notice this too. It is infuriating to be the only person with 2 free hands when moving stuff or operating equipment, as the smartphone zombies literally will not free their other hand to be doubly more efficient.
