I hate Windows10

I have services.msc installed and turned off updates. But every once in awhile they turn back on. When windows updates I have to reinstall my internet connection. Every damn time.

At least Open Shell got me a start menu I can actually use. That stupid mobile looking thing gave me a headache.

Windows 7 was the last 'it just works' version of windows, I will give you guys that, but they stopped providing security updates unless you pay for it. I do remember there were hobbyist security update for Windows 98 SE years after they stopped supporting it, no idea if something like that still goes on or if it could be done for Win 7.

Everything after Windows 7, it was as thought MS was telling everyone they despise their customers.

I personally don't mind the updates, what annoys me is how much of an inconsistent, weird, bloated clusterfuck Windows 10 is. This shit has been on the market for 6 or 7 years now and it still has the weird mix between old UI (Control Panel, file Properties window, File Explorer and stuff like that) and the new one (Settings app etc). Not to mention how inferior the new Start menu is to the old one. I honestly think they should scrap the whole thing and start over, actually make it what they want it to be.

I only use it because of Unity3D and vidya. Otherwise, Linux all the way.

For several days I have been trying to update to 20H2 version of this shitty OS and guess what? I fucking can't because I have dual OS (Ubuntu and Windows 10) and motherfucking Windows while restarting omits somehow GRUB2 boot and directly start up with Windows 10 update installation during loading this shitty OS but can't finish it and restarts.

Though shall have only one OS on PC and that will be Microsoft product named after Bill Gates dick

I am also using something called W10Privacy but it's more like a busy work. Whatever Linux installation you preffer you will have less shit to optimise than in this god awful crack. The amount of options to read and un/check is tremendous. Why I can't just have three fucking options like "Minimum", "Moderate" and "Hardcore" to turn off Windows bloatware spyware.

2 hours of update. Win10 disabled my Windows Defender (antivirus) so to force me to update.

What was the update about? Fucking Microsoft Edge shit and bloatware for skype.

I hate windows.
Thats why I run the Windows 10 Debloatter. I just wish they’d release a lightweight and minimal version of Windows (i.e. Fundamentals for Legacy PCs.)

I’ve hated it ever since I first installed it back in 2016.

I wish I had the knowledge/confidence/skills to run a Linux OS, but I can’t risk bricking my machine. Certainly not with all that irreplaceable vintage porn on it anyway.
Just back it up on a usb/HDD/SSD, you stupid coomer. I just bought an old ass laptop I can risk trashing, and I am going to find out how to run Linux on it. I still need windows for a bunch of things that I can't avoid because EVERYONE uses and insists on using windows. But I'm really getting sick of windows 10, it always gets worse and fucks up my PC, always more telemetry, more bloat, more shit I don't want or need. I figure it's worth looking into linux now, because I doubt Windows 11 will be any better than 10, and it will be easier to move if I learn now instead of waiting until windows becomes even more shit, and then having to scramble to understand Linux. When I'm confident with Linux I will move on to Wine and then I can still use office and avoid any of the useless shit (everything else) or maybe I could look into dual booting and only using windows when needed, either way this will only get worse because everything from 7 onwards has got worse.

Windows 7 seven master race
You'll pry my Windows 7 installation disc from my cold, dead hands.
But how long can you realistically keep going when it's not supported? Do the lack of updates not cause any issues?
