A lot of men with less-severe autism would have just been seen as normal men 100 years ago or so. Ever since women got rights, there has been a greater emphasis on having good social skills to be successful. Autism is just an umbrella term for the government to say: You think differently, and might become a threat one day. With some Science™ bullshit, you get these people on pills too, so they become mentally stunted (for real this time).

It's why the "'tism" memes about being immune to propaganda and being creative is often joked about, but since "thinking differently" can also mean that you are just fucking retarded (isn't that conveniently entangled...). Autism doesn't exist, and if you don't believe me, look at how doctors "diagnose" autism, it's literally a "I made it up" template.
