I made a map of lolcows in the US

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Are you doing this in an interactable format (e.g: when you hover on the dots, it tells you who is it and where their other dots are, if applicable), or is it just an image?

There's a lot of lolcows, so you probably want to make like a JSON file with each one/everyone, then somehow put it in a map.

This allows you to put more data, such as date of births (then translate to age), political affiliation if any, if they have kids, if they're married, heritage, or whatever else that you want. Obviously a more ambitious project, but if done properly, a very interesting one.

IMO if the birthplace and current residence are different places they should be connected by a line. Might show potential lolcow migratory patterns

Steven Carver might live in Blacksburg, Virginia, if you need more Virginian cows lol. He also lived in a few Georgian cities and Franklin, Tennessee.

I'd contribute more if I could, but I'm not a singular-cow kinda person. Sorry! Good luck with the project, though, it's very interesting. It'll be very curious to see which states outside of the most-populated have the most cows in them.

I would be highly interested in which states the dots pool in, wondering if we could get some kiwiautists then to see if could be correlated to low quality of education, cost of living, quality of living, or just overall mental health.
Are those in Prospering Grounds also included in this?
