I made a package for Chris!

Or what about the DLC he's bought for games he doesn't even own?

I was going to add Chris is incredibly irresponsible with his money… but he isn't. Not really. Because it's never his money. It's other people's money he wastes so frivolously. Has Chris ever had his own money to spend? As in money he actually had to earn through real effort and true privation? I suspect every dollar he has ever spent was earned by someone else.
Well, there was that time he worked at Wendy's, but I suspect that he somehow still weaseled out of work.

Edit: What Cosmos said.

I was just looking at his PSN profile. He owns GTA 4 and Red Dead Redemption and Uncharted 2/3 and only has a one trophy in GTA 4 out of all of them. Why in the hell would play shovelware trash like Hannah Montana while he owns some of the better last gen games.

I think it falls on da 'tism. He'd rather much play games that are predictable and easy then to have to deal with complex controls or the stress of failing a level over and over again. All those titles you mention also have JERK males as the main protagonist.

Also Wendy's.
IIRC he barely lasted long enough at Wendy's to get a paycheck, and what he did get went to Bob to pay credit cards, prompting Bob to march him down to the social security office to demand :tugboat:.

Edit: Also I'm not sure what he did at Wendy's really qualifies as work. Yes, he was there, but IIRC what he mostly did was shit himself and do nothing.

They obviously have a change of address set up.
I can think of two problems with that theory:
  1. Chris
  2. Barb
You never know with those two. They might have set up forwarding, or they might be driving to 14BLC every day to pick up mail because its "easier".
the post office will divert any/all mail to the rental house in the immediate future. It's incredibly common and pretty foolproof. Chris will get anything that you mail to his house, it's basically guaranteed.
If only that were true. The post office manages to forward most mail properly, but they have an uncanny tendency to fail forwarding that one important package you must have as soon as possible, especially if there's something odd about it or the change of address notice or if the names don't quite match up. Mail sent to Chris Chandler might well not trigger a forwarding notice filled out as Christian Weston Chandler and vice versa.

The post office does a pretty good job, but they are only human, especially when catering to special individuals like Chris and Barb.

He never played or just played the intro of the games I just mentioned. He literally just through :tugboat: down the the toilet. *sigh*
Chris has very little personal understanding of the relationship between work and money. Money doesn't represent anything to him except what he gets every month by default.

It's still going to catch up to him at some point. Even if he somehow wiggles out of paying off the massive credit card debt he's got currently - and I don't see his creditors letting him go without a fight - his credit will get shot enough at some point that he can't get any more credit cards in the future. And then how will he splurge on video games and legos?

E-begging.

Exactly. Chris has never had to expend any effort, not even when he was at Wendy's, to get money, so it doesn't represent any cost to him. All money represents to him is the nice things he can buy with it.

Absolutely. Even the money he spends with credit cards is other people's money, but unlike the :tugboat: taxpayers, the credit card companies have the option to cut him off. And demand their money back. And they will.

There are some very hard times in store for Chris. Not just what he would consider hard times, like not being able to buy all the toys he wants, but actual hard times that would be a trial and struggle for anyone.

I'm not going to read through the entire thread to find a possible punch line...but if Julay really did send chris money on those cards then he or she is a sucker in my opinion. Chris is just trying to take advantage of people and get free stuff so his man baby ass can continue to sit around all day contributing nothing to society. I really don't think we all should help him along in doing that. had it been a sole request for gift cards to grocery stores and not best buy and such then maybe it would have been ok.

He gets his monthly tug boat and his mother gets retirement and Social Security, plus insurance money to pay for the rent on the temp house they are living in. Chris and his mother need to be able to fend for themselves now and not be given money and cards just so they can feed their laziness...

I guess I'm missing something here, but he's currently got a credit card?

Hm. Knowing Chris, he'll somehow get out of the debt, even without Bob to bail him out.

Unless the tugboat is cut off, that will never occur.

Probably to ogle Miley Cyrus, or at least that'd be his reasoning. He might throw in a "she-she portways da good fambly valoos" type of explanation, but I think some of it is just that the game isn't that challenging to him and he can do it without putting any true effort or thought into it.

Don't know if he'll see her the same way again when she started twerking and used inflatable giant penises at her performances. lol

The Miley Cyrus game is popular among trophy whores because it's an easy platinum. That probably is the main reason he bought it.

So, aren't we suppose to tell OP that he's being a ween tryhard a-log or some bullshit? I mean that's usually what happens when people try shit like this.

Personally though I don't give a damn. It's your dollar OP. Spend it how you want.

It could be way worse. Someone could actually buy OPL one of the LEGO sets he wanted, but instead of sending him the entire thing, open the box, and just send OPL his LEGO set piece by piece by "snail mail", with the instructions and box being last of course.

Because getting Hannah Montana trophies was probably easier
