I need to build a new desktop

Would you like a case with 5.25" bays?
How do the SLI 1080 Ti's perform with gaming and stable diffusion?
I don't think they're TI versions, but i'll double check.
As far as gaming goes, only this year have i started having some problems with not being able to run everything for the most part maxed out at 100%. Armored Core 6 runs fine with only a couple settings lowered a little. I tried the horizon zero dawn and that ran terribly to the point where i didn't even really want to fuck with it and just assumed my cards were to old or the port was bad. Red Dead Redemption 2 runs pretty much as full settings, FF7 Remake could run at full settings no problem, no man sky chugs when it first loads an area for a few seconds but then its fine.
Stable Diffusion seems to cause my whole machine to chug when it does the first few images but afterwards something happens and the rest of my stuff (videos playing, browsers, etc) start running fine and i just leave it running in the background usually producing like 20-50 images at a time, before i pick one to iterate off of at something like 500x500 res.
The machine has honestly stood solid for a long time and the biggest reason I want to buy a new one is mostly because "DPC Watchdog Violation" occasionally and honestly. I just don't have the energy to trouble shoot it. It started shortly after I set up ollama but its been happening even when i have it turned completely off (unless docker still has some bullshit running with the WSL some where that i'm not aware of when i turn it off. My guess on that is maybe something in the ram went bad but i don't feel like going through the trouble of scanning 8 ram sticks individual with a tool to see if something died. I just figured its been like 13-15 years since i built this box, I can afford to build a new one, move some of the drives over, format it and turn it into a linux server with some beef behind it to do dev experiments on when I don't want to do windows dev stuff.

also note that NewEgg seldom has the best prices, so once you find a PSU you like, shop around.
Speaking of Newegg, if you haven't been doing PC part shopping in 15 years, it's worth noting that Newegg has fallen off hard recently. The original owners sold off to a mainland Chinese group who then took it public with a SPAC, now it embodies all the negative stereotypes of a publicly traded company.
