I would say that the fregean concept of a thought was just bad translation and thought doesn't occur independently of the mind.Does thought happen independent of the mind?
I would even dispute the existence of consciousness. We know that there are mental processes through causation but postulating the existence of consciousness adds nothing to our understanding of the mindIs thought all there is to consciousness?
I would say that thinking is simply a series of chemical reactions that occur in the brain. That being said I would consider rational thinking to be an emergent behaviour that can be better understood through itself rather than through psychologyThinking happens, but how does it happen?
