Monituversor
So I had this thought since the New Guy MEME. Someone is trying to send you a warning or a message, but you perceived it as a benefit. So lets say a truck. Someone is warning you that if you get a truck. Someone warn you that if you get a 4x4 then people will bother you to go off roading and gey stuck in the mud, you will look too masculine and be the guy to pick up heavy loads. However, that just sells you to get a truck.
I have been noticing a trend like this for some time. Is this just a cycle in society, is there another word for it? I didn't post this in Deep Thoughts because it seems to silly, but I can't be alone on noticing this phenomenon.
- From "monitus" meaning "warning"
- Combined with "versor" meaning "to turn/transform" Meaning "warning that turns/transforms [into its opposite]"
