I think the main function of Rosechu was to give Sonichu a missus, because Chris thinks everyone getting everything they want right away makes for a good story. Personality-wise, she's basically Chris' idea of a perfect wife - does all the hard work, is a total nympho, loves her husband unconditionally on first sight and will do anything for him. Chris doesn't identify with her in any real sense, because she doesn't have that kind of depth. One of the main reasons he got so upset about the idea that she had a cock, IMO, was because then she was no longer the perfect woman he'd envisioned for his cool friend Sonichu.

Rosechu cooks, cleans, wants to do the horizontal mambo all the time, and doesn't care about anything you do as long as you give her shopping money. She doesn't even care if you bathe.

In many ways, Rosechu is the ideal wife. Well, aside from being a monster and having no personality to speak of.

Or at least she seemed to be. Poor Sonichu must have been pretty shocked when he found out she was smuggling a under that skirt.

More importantly, he represents a character that is not threatening to Chris. Not because he'd imagine Sonichu leaping out of the page and strangling him or some crap, but a stereotypically masculine action hero say for example a superhero or action movie star, that would present a character that's too intense for Chris. It would set unrealistic goals, it would challenge him as being unmanly, it would give him the prickly wicklies basically.

I actually agree with this. Sonichu doesn't challenge Chris' masculinity because Sonichu is an animal that exists solely to serve Chris much like a Pokémon. No one alive would ever feel guilty for not being as fast as their dog or not having as good a sense of hearing or smell.

Yeah I've never thought Chris was a fake, or fetish trans. He legit believes he's a female, which makes him more trans than most of the Ratking. He just has trouble expressing, with out it looking like he's faking it because he's an autistic idiot.

I think a lot of it is to do with an autistic obsession with gender and generally having misconceptions about it since fantasy and reality seems to merge for him like when he thought when he came out as a lesbian he’d be able to have a hot lesbian sleepover party.

Anyway story-wise this is an interesting development since Rosechu is a covert trans character who isn’t the typical “LGBT and proud!” we’ve seen previously in the comic and it means Sonichu keeps secrets from Chris.
