Totally Chris was way dumber and more optimistic, also a big thing people forget is everyone and their dog had a vlog, no one vlogs anymore, you'd literally have to pay any crazy internet vlogger to make a video at this point. It's left the realm of "normal" creative outputs. Back when blarms was going on people spent the time complaining about now videos when Chris was firing off weekly gold flipping out on social media with no troll guidance. Like nothing will bring 2008 back.

The only thing the nu trolls do is just make Chris feel too depressed to actually do anything or just shoehorn all his actions into a fairly boring script

Best bet people have for something funny is that Chris does a shit ton of sonichu for patreon(which is having a moment) and his flip outs/mind ends up in the comic. That can't happen with people fucking with it

Chris wouldn't care if it went public. Everyone knows Chris has a tendency to get handsy if he thinks he's in with a girl. I doubt he even knows it's wrong - if he was pulled up on it, he'd probably pass it off as "us girls tee-hee-hee."

At this point, there's pretty much nothing you can blackmail him with. We know he visited a prostitute. We know he wants to bang his mom. We know he shits himself. We know he used to drink his cum. We know what porn he watches. We know his sexual fantasies. We have plenty of evidence of him being sexist, racist and homophobic. His nudes are all over the Internet. He's even been (falsely) accused of being a pedophile.

And even if you did have dirt on him, what then? It's not like you could get him sacked. Mommy's not going to kick him out. The worst you could do is get his friends to abandon him, but he'd just blame it on the dang dirty trolls leaking information, shit himself and do nothing.

Chris is pretty bulletproof, in that there is nothing you can threaten him with because his life is so meaningless and his reputation is about as poor as it can get.

I agree with all of this post, but I want to add one thing:

The only reason Chris would ever care about any leaks is to stop us from seeing more stuff, but this isn't due to him having any kind of shame or any material object he cares about..

No, it's more about him not wanting to give trolls (or anyone) anything at all, which to me is the quintessential Chris trait: His unwillingness to budge to anyone and just cut his losses.

Nearly all the recent leaks like the Doopie email and the Desiree Delightful stuff had Chris insisting on confidentiality before proceeding to talk about anything, even some mundane shit.
