Not being a retard who wastes their entire paycheque and refuses to invest anything is an active process that takes work and discipline.

I mean gaming can be ok, provided it is mentally stimulating and isn't a total dopamine fixation. Variety and moderation are basically the spice of life. There are several games that can improve a person's strategy/decision making.
When it comes to weed also I think it's ok once in a while but most people that have a dependent relationship with it probably have issues.
Overall though if you're financially stable enough and just do the same thing every fucking day it will become boring eventually.
