If it'll take centuries to get to the nearest star I'd say maybe let scientists study it first so we can figure out how to build our own, or at least let the knowledge they gain from it help humanity. Then perhaps I'd take it for a spin around the Solar system. I'd probably want to go for the stars eventually. I want to see what's out there.
