If I've been drinking and shitposting on the job basically every work day for months and I still have a job, Is that good or bad? - Should I find a less retarded workplace or should I never ever leave?

I mentally checked out of my last job like 3 years in and it took them another 2.5 years to get rid of me there. My new job I've been in for around 2.5 years and I barely do anything here either, mostly just shitpost, play video games and call people nigger online. I dunno man do what you want.

once you hit about 30-35 you will realise that you have wasted prime time for growth and now you will never know what you could have been. Make your peace with your conscience
Doesn't that happen to basically everyone anyway?
Like, even millionaires are probably like "I could have had another 0 next to my net worth if only I pushed myself harder" or whatever. Happiness isn't a goal you achieve; It's a fleeting state of mind that goes away the moment you see greener pastures beyond your reach.
Not that it's a bad thing. That sort of drive is how shit gets done. The ability to put off short term rewards for long term ones is one of those things that puts man apart from beast. But that reward has to be enjoyed at some point.
How many people do you think are really content with who they are and what they've accomplished?

lolno you got me all fucked up.
What I'm saying is, though discontent is a positive force in humanity as a whole, a dash of complacency doesn't hurt either in mild doses.

What if you woke up tomorrow with a billion dollars? Let's ignore the grifters and fair-weather "friends" that would suddenly remember you exist once they know you have money. Let's also ignore greedy/jealous fucks in your life:
What would you do with it? That's enough to spend 20 million every year for 50 years if you wanted. There's no doubt your could retire on that. You could make any debts you have go away in an instant. You could buy a nice house in a nice neighborhood. Whatever you want, you can have.
Want to make some sort of great scientific achievement? Buy your way into a prestigious school and make an effort to learn all you can about the current scientific consensus until you find a way to subvert it.
Want drugs? Of course you can have them all with that kind of money.
Want sex? Take a limo to the Carson City Bunny Ranch and you can be balls deep in smoking hot 20-somethings every day for the rest of your life.
Want love? Just don't be a nigger who throws his money around like it's candy (doing so will get you a degenerate gold-digger ofc) and you will have plenty of opportunities if you know where to look and how to hide your wealth.
Want a family? See above.

In any case, would you be (and stay) happy? I might be projecting here but the "family" thing would be your best bet. But that's only because you have the opportunity to live vicariously through your children and do what you can to ensure that their childhood and adult years are better than your own. And that's something that every non-nigger parent tries to do anyway. Perhaps that's the best reason to accrue wealth; your runts can use it to make connections that will help them later on in life. What's going on in your life won't matter anymore as long as the kids are alright...

When I am on nights or weekends all by myself, I surf the internets on my work PC because my manajerk ain't around.

I'd take the money and try to help other people with it. Like open a local factory that employs hundreds of workers. When the town needs sewage and water lines in to support the business, I'd pay to have that infrastructure built. Consider it a long term investment. And make it a pay it forward sort of thing. That kind of money can change many lives. By making my town a happier and more prosperous place, I would also be making myself a happier person.

It depends on how much you make.
Good pay and benefits?
Stay as long as you can and ride that shit out.

Not so good pay?
Get out to somewhere you can apply yourself and make decent money.

There’s a lot of bullshit jobs for the sake of there needing to be jobs to keep the economy running and having people buy things when a lot of jobs are just made up bullshit that could be streamlined or automated. It’s not like there isn’t plenty of work to be done or plenty of ambition in people it’s just Capitalism today is reaching its late stage limitations due to a change in material conditions and we can’t even figure out a few small tweaks to change the idea of GDP as chief indicator of economic well-being. New Zealand might be the first developed country to be seriously looking at some kind of post-capitalist model for well being not solely based around GDP but by looking at other indicators like citizen wellbeing, education, environment for a better model of growth. Yes hard economic rules about GDP growth matter but if we can produce enough efficiently to improve conditions then why the hell aren’t we all looking at creating more meaningful work for ourselves? That aside to answer the question a job doing nothing sounds pretty awesome but depressing at the same time, if I had a job where I could do nothing I’d get really good at painting Warhammer miniatures though it’d be hard to do that and pretend to work at the same time.

That's fucking gold, stay there forever.
If you really need fulfillment or something learn something at the job that you can use for your next job. I've heard of people with your kind of job that learned programming. Or got a 2nd job that they can do during the first job.
