If Joseph Stalin did decide to use social media, what platform would he choose?

I hate twitter but man I would love to see WWII internet slap-fights on twitter between Stalin - Hilter - Mussolini - etc. That would be quality entertainment as well as horrible as Germany live tweets their invasions.

The live reaction to Pearl Harbor would have been wild.

Actually there was this funny youtube video that kind of encapsulates that idea. It was around 6 minutes long and it had Truman, Eisenhower, FDR, Patton, Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, Churchill, De Gaulle, and Tojo as "players".

No, my namesake died a couple of years before I was born. But my namesake probably wouldn't use any social media. A big part of his style was staying at a distance from the people. This allowed him some measure of denying excesses in certain of his initiatives, such as collectivization and the Purges.

He was also just a paranoid nut job. Even the most controversial dictators felt comfortable in public, stalin was strangely an exception to this

He wouldn't use it himself, but I think he'd see the fantastic potential in tracking and entrapping other people. That's my serious answer. The closest you'd get to an official Stalin social media account would be a government account run by one of his peons, who would be very careful about not Tweeting or posting anything Joe Steel didn't approve of. Although Stalin might approve of something, then realize it was a mistake, and that poor schmuck gets scapegoated anyway. Meanwhile, the KGB reads all of your Tweets and does glow nigger ops like the FBI does today, except they have to get you to do a lot less before they throw you in a gulag.
