We cannot be certain of the character of such a god as we simply cannot observe it. Sure, some schitzo could say they have observed or have been talked to by god but we cannot be certain of it. If we are to accept the word of a supposed prophet this would be of an appeal to authority. We do not know if they are the prophet, and if they were the same fallacy would be true. We cannot be certain of what is. Nor, can we be certain of what is not. The character and nature of the unknown is by virtue of it being unknown, unknown.
Assuming the traits of omnipotently, and omnipresence etc (that is traditionally associated with god) and it would have full understanding of all the happenings. It would know all of our motives, it would be watching us. We can thus assume that if it/they are to exist then such a being would have an endless source of assuming derived from the experience from the presence of our pitiful species that will only amount to being a source of entertainment as we entrainment these fanciful ideas. For all we know, they could be screeching "don't shut up Nate, I enjoy the shitshow you cause". For those unaware of the phrase "Shut Up Nate" just ask Sneedchat users such as @Muttley to explain it to you.
Though, I wonder if god was to exist and is to be against suffering of all kinds then they would not allow degenerate traits to exist. Why would BMJ exist with his fuelled gambling addiction? Is it because god wants him to over come it? Though, if he is all knowing then he would already be aware of the nature of BMJ and that he would not. BMJ as such is doomed to fail . God, thus cannot be all caring/loving. If he was, then it would be expected he would be that he would have attempted to prevent such a world from existing if he was all loving. Spoiler alert, he is not.
There is then the prospect of other religions. In such a case, maybe a "god" created "religion" as a means of stoking devoid and as such further scizhoid tardrages in determining who are to be "his"/"its"/"their" best followers upon different forms of religions. There has been continuous conflict amongst different religions upon their interpretation of religion and this has naturally fuelled an immense amount of entertainment as our repulsive species fights and exterminates the other for following the wrong fraith.
Thus, the logical conclusion is that he would have wanted such a negative world to exist. This is basically existed through the concept of the devil and how a "godly" figure determines who are, and who aren't worthy. What is to say he doesn't get enjoyment out of this? What is to say that if the old testament is correct then Adam and Eve weren't lolcows? I mean, if I was god I'd do the same thing. It'd be absolutely hilarious to make the schizos be even more schizo and to see the shitstorm.
TLDR: God basically has their own Kiwi Farms and a such laughing at lolcows is morally permissible as we all know
