If you could only play 1 game for the rest of your life?

Wait, wait, wait, we're doing any game?

Okay, here's my answers:

General game - D&D or some sort of RPG. It's sorta like a board game but the possibilities are infinite, I mean the only limit really is your imagination. Easily done in a lifetime.

Video game - Tetris, still stands.

Board game - Go. I'm not good at it but with a lifetime, I could probably become a master at it. Plus the number of possibilite combinations of moves is more than the number of stars in the universe, which means it'd be difficult to repeat a game.

Team Fortress 2 or Garry's Mod.

Eh, maybe Garry's Mod.

Minecraft, no doubt.

With no other games to distract me I might even finish some of my grand projects.

Garry's Mod. If I get bored of the gamemodes I already have, I'll just make new ones! That way I'll never get bored of it! :ween:
Well, if I actually knew how to code LUA.

Dungeons & Dragons.

Also this.

If restricted to video games only, I might choose Minecraft. The thing is, I've been playing for about two years now and find that the game is starting to get stale. There are still lots of things I haven't tried yet - adventure maps, getting involved on large servers, going off the deep end into redstone - and if I only had one game to play for the rest of my life, I'm sure I would try those things. There are more interesting games for me to play at the moment, like Civ 5, but that's not a game I'd want to play for the rest of my life. Minecraft truly is endless.

Certainly Doom! The gigantic modding community pretty much guarantees that I won't get sick of it at any foreseeable time.

One game that marked my childhood: Metal Arms: Glitch in the System. I wouldn't mind playing that game till I die.

So glad to see someone has played that underrated gem.

OT: Probably Shadow of the Colossus. Love that game to bits. I could just wander the Forbidden Lands forever...

I choose Doom 2 Hell on Earth because

are

insane.

It's like having access to a large library of games simultaneously. Even more impressive is that, aside from the Call of Duty one, these were all made by a single guy.

Ha, nice to see someone played that game as well. Me and my brother played Metal Arms every single time we came home from school. Fun times. Gonna buy it in Xbox Live Marketplace to relive those emotions soon.

Your post really seals it for me. I'm going with Doom thanks to the WADS. Especially with Brutal Doom

The real icing on the cake is you can make your own mods. Doom's engine still has some limitations but it's atleast advanced enough that you can utilize 3D floors, fog, colored lights, ambient sounds, reflective walls/floors/ceilings, skyboxes, 3D models, dynamic lighting, etc. and the ACS/Decorate scripting allows a pretty vast flexibility of freedom if you're willing to take the time.

Hat Fortress 2. Never gotten bored of playing it in all my years of playing it.

Russian Roulette. It's never boring and a winning is a life-changing experience.

What about losing?

Then I will have kept my word to play one game for the rest of my life.
