If you learned that your life was staged in the same way as the Truman Show, what would you do? Would you bother escaping, or would you mess with the showrunners?

Honestly I've gotten away with (or even rewarded for) so much bad stuff that if it ever gets revealed people have actually been watching me and doing nothing to stop me, it's more an indictment of everyone else than it is of me.

So I guess what I'd do is just negotiate for more money and a much cooler/lazier day job, since apparently this is all bullshit anyway.

Wonder how it didn't get cancelled back when I was spending sixteen hours a day playing video games.
The only good game reviewer. The best game reviewer.

Also how did that guy parachute into the Truman show at the beginning of the movie if it took place in a giant dome?

Likely using some sort hidden harness and wires. I doubt they'd bother hiring an actual plane and parachute dude.
I mean, more than likely, but a background character in the movie wants to meet Truman. So he parachutes into the set of the show and gets captured by security before Truman can notice him.

I would wonder who the fuck is watching. There hasn't been much interesting or entertaining going on for the last decade.

And I'm not exactly the font of charm and charisma that Jim Carey is.

Semi-serious related thought, I always found the final dialogue between Truman and the director a bit strange. The movie repeatedly pointed out that a major appeal of the show was Truman's authenticity. Everything around him was fake but he was real. But this realness was completely destroyed when he discovered his life to be a TV show, so why was the director still begging him to stay? The show wasn't over when Truman left the set through that door, it was over the very second he discovered the truth.
