>leave a red white and blue fatcorpseDrink a bunch of blue paint and throw myself off a skyscraper
All of this but I'd document it daily on Youtube. When I lost my deathfat status in a year or two without having to go on My 600 lbs Life I'd make fat shaming videos. How deathfat are we talking here? Can I still walk and provide basic care for myself?
Regardless, I would relegate myself to two satisfying meals a day: lunch and dinner. Substitute overt crap to healthier stuff I can still enjoy. I understand that my palate wouldn't be that of a normal human but a large spinach salad with chicken chuncks and copious amounts of ranch dressing is still a step up from two boxes of Mac n Cheese as a side dish. A small step forward is way, way better than a giant leap that I'll just backpeddle on later. Make healthy but reasonable substitutions wherever you can in as non-intrusive a way as possible.
Between meals, I'd absolutely get hungry. And that's where the real deathfat problems come in. "I'm a bit peckish: time for an entire pizza!" Even people who obsessively count their calories often have a problem properly incorporating their "little snacks." If you feel hungry, wait 15 minutes. The feeling will often pass. If it doesn't, eat something light but filling. If it doesn't fit in one hand, it's not a snack.
You don't have to forgo all your creature comforts or even count calories all that much (though if choosing between two foods you like, gravitate towards the one with fewer as a general rule). Get in the mindset that this is a lifestyle you're building up to. Don't expect to lose a ton of weight in any short period of time. Any diet that actually can achieve that is likely too restrictive to stick to and you'll blow right back up even if you do reach your weight loss goals. Just take it slow. If you start to plateu after a year or so doing this, just rinse and repeat. See what other modifications you can make and carry on.
Remember that you don't have to swear off any particular kind of food entirely. Just eat less of it.
Note: I'm 100% thinsplaining here. I've never been fat. And I am still at that young age where I can eat basically whatever I want and never get fat. I also understand that a lot of this shit is easier said than done but doing this is also a lot easier than sticking to any particularly restrictive diet so eh.
