It's ultimately a nothingburger, but I happened upon this account recently and thought it was funny. Enter "
thepredator666_2018" (
Archive), a short-lived iFunny gimmick account dedicated to being the number one hater of John Palmer
Who is John Palmer?
An entrepreneur from Chicago. John created the ProMax and ProCredit software, which assist in car sales. Palmer made national news in November 2016 for having a chud incident at a Hamilton performance in Chicago, where he was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor for trespassing.

Where Thepredator and John Palmer crossed paths was in the workplace. A regular at a restaurant Thepredator worked at, Palmer would often get drunk, harass the female staff and get thrown out. During one of these incidents Palmer would leave his phone inside the restaurant, which one of the waitresses seized as an opportunity to download his image gallery. These photos were then used in memes on Thepredator's page.
Thepredator was a collective of three women who worked at the same restaurant. The account appears to have been operated by one person, as all the comments are written in the same tone of voice. An iFunny account was apparently their last resort, as John Palmer had learned of their attempts at making profiles on Twitter and Instagram despite not having a presence on either platform (it's more likely that these accounts were taken down for violating terms of service).
John Palmer has a very negative opinion among locals, regularly propositioning women in exchange for cosmetic surgery and material possessions. Palmer has had regular run-ins with law enforcement, getting sued for sexual harassment and copping 6 DUI charges. He's been banned from multiple public venues and is said to have closed down a car dealership as a consequence of his reputation affecting his business. He also married a 21-year-old who promptly divorced him and swiped his money.

Thepredator started Palmerposting on December 3rd 2018. The punchlines were generally weak and borrowed a lot from early 2010s Internet humour. As a collective of people Thepredator was able to put out content at an impressive rate, with 2 - 5 memes being uploaded daily for nearly the entirety of the account's lifespan.
Thepredator's memes became more abstract in January 2019 when John's reign of terror extended to everyone and his non-existent sister.
By the end of January Thepredator's memes started to feature John Fitzgerald Bradley, John Palmer's assistant at Promax
My favourite posts from Thepredator are the strips, where John would either rape or get raped by numerous cartoon characters alongside other subject matters.
The height of Thepredator's popularity was in January. They disappeared for a bit in mid-February and made their last post in May of 2019
iFunny's response
Naturally, almost every post made by Thepredator had one guy in the comments wondering who the hell John Palmer was. This became a joke to observers of Thepredator's content, where the extreme vitriol and lack of context was used as a source of humour. By the end of December 2018, Thepredator had amassed a pretty respectable niche following and throughout January some of their followers began contributing to the John Palmer hate train.
Trinney McGinley
Thepredator had a 9gag account under the name "
Trinney McGinley" (
archive) which she crossposted to. Naturally, the fun-hating dullards at 9gag found the lack of context unamusing, with many of the Palmer posts having contentious like-to-dislike ratios. The last post made to the account was in March 2019
