It’s Diary of a Wimpy Kid isn’t it. Don’t think I couldn’t see the subtle hints you put out there. What crazy hijinks will Greg heffley get into now.

I dunno your premise seems kinda done before. How about a kid from a backwater village who stumbles into a conflict and it turns out he's the chosen one!

Everything has been made before. Originality is dead. That's why hollywood movies have the subversion trope now, so they could at least see where the public want the story to go and subvert it and have some semblance of originality.

The premise is more like an lovecraftian steam punk adventure following your classical archetypal amnesia strong willed character who meets a lovely rogue (another archetype) where the characters embark on an adventure to save the world (another archetype). And because I'm aware it is really fucking cliche I tried to make the world and the locations described in my story to be way more interesting than the characters.

A hostile world covered in darkness, technologically stunted with sea life taking over and mutating to replace a world without sun and warmth, and how humanity had to adapt to those conditions and the factions that arise from it. Plus I take heavy inspiration from Lovecraft and The king in Yellow,

This sentance has never been made before: @stares at error messages quotes @Just Dont saying, 'Everything has been made before'. See? Original.
