Description from the site itself:

"Between 2009 and 2012, iPhones had a built-in "Send to YouTube" button in the Photos app. Many of these uploads kept their default IMG_XXXX filenames, creating a time capsule of raw, unedited moments from random lives. Inspired by Ben Wallace, I made a bot that crawled YouTube and found 5 million of these videos! Watch them below, ordered randomly."

I've watched a few of them, its like randomly peeking into the moments of peoples lives. One video was of a guy trying to move some furniture, another was a highschool vollyball game, another was some russian guy saying stuff while filming a pizza box for some reason.

Amazing. I love this kind of stuff. Reminds me of the famous 2am at 711 video.

Unfortunately, I mostly got random baby videos. I did eventually get this.
No idea what game that is.

Edit: Another strange one.

Most of these are videos of babies and high school sports. The most interesting ones I've seen had a guy disassembling and reassembling an AK-47 like in a Marines drill, a woman being arrested by Russian cops, a conversation between a woman and her husband in bed about him apologizing for insulting her family, a bunch of Frenchies in clown outfits singing some kind of whimsical song while a couple of them had scaled a statue of some important figure and were putting a clown nose around his face, a Japanese or Chinese guy trying to speak English and being unable to pronounce R's, and a rabbit being fed a carrot.

How do you get the URL to the actual video?

edit: oh I figured it out. Me dumb.

Reminds me of that one time, like 10 years ago, when a router manufacturer (forget which one) had a default setting enabled in their software that basically turned your PC into a FTP server, and people (not me, obviously) spent days just going through random peoples documents and pictures.

Most of it was harmless, like pictures of people at parties, cats, random events, or documents of how someone tried to make Beer Pong 2.0, poetry etc. One of them was a retired investigator / cop and actually had a myriad of old crime scene photos.

This site kicks ass, thanks for linking! I'm gonna throw up some of the more interesting ones I find on this post because I'm pretty bored. They remind me of better times.

Party Rock Anthem being played by a big band at a college football game

Dog mooing like a cow

Installation of a 2012 security camera

Here's a cool trick

Some guy with the sniffles goes snowboarding on Christmas Day

A Russian guy tied a lightsaber to his bike and went out driving in freezing temperatures. Another Russian took interest and filmed it over some contemporary radio music

Man's futile attempt to spin his homemade cutlery windmill spinner

Babushkat's Revenge

Hick Metal with accordions and screaming men

Arab Spring footage(?)

This looks like that one coughing baby meme.

I got some japanese fella traversing some really fucking icy water, but this is the sort of shit I missed about youtube. People just sharing bits and pieces here and there or just doing something as a hobby. I'm now realizing how little I actually even look at the site anymore because of this

They're not lying when they say it offers a random snapshot into other people's lives. First video I saw was a kid catching his first fish, uploaded in 2011. Wonder what he's doing now.

This caught my eye:

I get the feeling I've seen this video on this site
