First, Imgur was essentially Reddit's image-hosting slave.
Then, when they added comments and other social media aspects, they gained their own (shittier) community, entirely composed of non-relevant discussion and stale memes. That's when it all became the most vile "social media" platform in the history of Man. They're the shitholes who pushed Dickbutt.
When Reddit got it's own image-hosting server, Imgur struggled even harder. They dead now, just trying to make themselves look lively with all these reposted Vines.
AND it's all still reposted content from other websites. Sure, Reddit does that, too, but here it's as late as Facebook (maybe even later).
