long live your best friend. i've lost 2 cats in two years so i know that feel.
 
I may be late but I may as well say it: Sorry for the loss. I know it can be hard losing a pet. Last Thanksgiving, my third dog passed away. It was sad since it affected me, my a few family members, and even one of my dogs. Either way, at least your dog isn't suffering anymore plus there are of course the good memories you had with that dog.

My dog also named Toby also got put down in February... I just found it a sad coincidence between us.

I'm really sorry to hear about everyone's losses and especially my condolences to The Dude, I hope you and your family will pull through this grief together to come out happy in the end. At least Rocky had a splendid life with you and such a lucky puppy he was to have a full happy life.
 
We know our pets will be gone long before we are, but I still pity the folks who'll never know the joy of having an animal friend. Sounds like he lived a good old life. My condolences, Dude.

I'm missing my dog a lot. It still hurts, but I'm feeling better because I know he's in peace.

My sympathies Dude. It's never easy putting a loved one down. Cherish your memories, for they will comfort you.
