I recently tried In-N-Out and found myself disgusted with it; Soggy burger fused to the paper, bland fries, mediocre flavor. If you have tried both, which one is your favorite? Whataburger is the clear winner for me. Variety of choice, better presentation, better flavor. Can't go wrong with a Monterrey melt and onion rings.

Whataburger is great. I cannot recall an overtly terrible meal I’ve ever eaten there. INO, on the other hand, has always been exceptionally bland tasting to me. I suppose it’s decent if you’re strapped for cash and need a quick bite, but I strongly feel that both McDonald’s and Wendy’s are far superior.

I’ve even been so far as to try INO when in LA and it still tasted like shit. I don’t know how they managed the monstrous hype machine for their mediocre foods, but hey, can’t knock them for tricking so many people.

Here Whataburger is exclusively in nigger neighborhoods ran by niggers and the burgers are of shitty low quality beef with smushed, dry buns.

The cheese is bland, the patties are generally overcooked, the buns are smushed and dry, the fries are mushy and disgusting, and the lettuce and tomatoes remind me of ingredients accidentally left in the bottom of a Walmart box and stepped on instead of being placed in their respective produce bins.

I dislike Whataburger. In-N-Out wins by default because they aren't this. Freddy's Frozen Custard has superior burgers imo.

I had both in Texas and they're both just shitty fast food burgers

Those are both terrible options. It's 5 guys vs shake shack for me.

In-N-Out is solid fast food affair, but at the end of the day it's like putting lipstick on a pig. You want a gourmet burger, go get a gourmet burger.

In-N-Out isn't bad. I've not been able to have Whataburger, so I cannot compare the two. I will say that I was supremely disappointed with how much some friends spoke so highly about In-N-Out like it was the best thing ever. It was OK. It was a fast food burger. Fuck off with your secret menu bullshit, it was a fast food burger. Better than McColoncancer and BK, but hardly worth the effort.

Gimme smash burger, habit, or fat burger over In-N-Out any day.

Neither...I prefer Five Guys.

This tho.

In-N-Out accomplishes the strange feat of making me crave it occasionally even though I consciously understand that it’s been a consistently mediocre experience every time. Their fries are fucking garbage too, I only get them to avoid the shame of eating just a burger alone.

God damn do they have attractive drive thru attendants though. Every single one I’ve been to. Maybe that’s the issue.

There’s a Hardees (Carl’s Jr. if you’re exceptional) that I get breakfast at on my way to work sometimes and the lady who takes my order is very sweet but also a 300 lb victim of an ugly stick beating. Bitch knows how to make a from scratch biscuit though.

That's not even half there selection. In and Out better have some good burgers.

I used to love in and out way back when they were new in California. Now they have devolved into barely better than McYucks. Most of the endless prattle you hear about how good in and out of your colon is from people remembering it better than it is.

I've had both and I have to say Whataburger is better, but the true Chad burger and fries is Halo Burger.
