My list:
  • “Being present”- for influencers, it’s almost always used in a long screed of doing everyday mundane tasks, or on a fancy vacation, and expecting praise for doing so
  • “Healing my inner child”- trying to sound deep without actually being deep
  • “Making core memories”- almost always used for going on vacation somewhere, and acting as if it will always be a thing to remember
  • “Living authentically”- the people that typically say this have the most curated social media presence possible
  • “Living my truth”- pretty much for the same reasons as “living authentically” is annoying

The prevelance of ebonics (idk what other word to use as I mean both AAVE and "roadman" talk) by Gen Z and millenial influencers to sound "cool" annoys the fuck out of me

  • “It’s giving…”- overused phrase from people trying too hard to be funny/clever
  • “Spill the tea”- an annoying way of saying you have drama to tell
  • “X is now my Holy Grail”- an incessant way to say that [insert product here] is the best thing ever. Said product is almost always being shilled, and later forgotten about once a new thing to promote comes along
  • “Snatched”- typically referring to waistlines, and said outfits that emphasize a small waistline. Hilarious if used by landwhales
  • “Buttery”- apparently the only descriptive word influencers know when talking about soft clothing and/or formulas in makeup
  • “Glowing”- apparently the only descriptive word influencers know when talking about good skin/makeup application
  • “If you know, you know”- I hear this way too much, and I can’t wait for this phrase to die
  • “Holding space for…”- therapy speak that managed to be used for the dumbest things possible, but now possibly dying due to it becoming a meme

Unalive, PDFfile, Essay(SA), or any number of dumb ass words they use because they'll sooner get on their knees and tongue Silicon Valley's asshole then stand up for anything and risk their precious internet bux.

What’s worse is that it’s now just getting commonly used in real life, not even to evade Silicon Valley’s ridiculous rules against speech when posting videos online

I'll readily admit that I'm (mercifully) not well versed in dipshit influencer talk. I went searching for a glossary and chose some of the stupidest entries I could find.

BDE (big dick energy)
Correction, its actually Big Dwayne Energy

Not so much a specific word, but that robotic giving-a-presentation-to-the-class intonation they all have when shilling a product or sharing the most mundane details of their daily routines.

Also, "yooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!"

These probably aren't "influencer" speak, since I don't know or follow any, but I detest these neologisms:

Intentionality when you mean Intention. Same for positionality.

Dead name to refer to one's name before it was changed (legally or by practice), because of the absolute disrespect that term shows to the person's parent what gave him that name.

I've got more, but I have other things on my mind currently. I'll update as my mind clears.

Oh, one question: Can anyone explain the origin of the statement "I said what I said"? I've seen compilation videos featuring chicks badly attempting to lucidly make some point and then using that statement as if it means something. Thanks in advance.

White zoomers engaging in nigger speak annoy me
