Instructions on how to remove the Windows Pride Flag from Taskbar

Thanks man, I rarely use Windows but before we know it this'll be embedded deep into the source code.
get to work winfags

Had to make a registry edit for that. Adding a DWORD called "BingSearchEnabled" with its value set to 0 in "Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Search" has worked for me so far.
You're a life saver!

This is the last push I needed to switch to Linux full time.
I know this sounds super corny but the community will be glad to receive you (that is, assuming you've never used Linux before), despite what others might say. Try Ubuntu/Mint/Zorin on a live USB and make sure everything works (Linux is still shabby on laptops and with Nvidia hardware), right now I'd say you should dual boot if you do audio/video/image editing or use super niche software that will probably not work on Linux, other than that there's basically no reason to keep using Windows frankly. Also it's easy to get overwhelmed when switching from one to the other but remember you're learning an entirely different operating system, pick one of the three I mentioned and give it a try, search for help online if you need it (you can even ask in the Linux thread here).

By the way, right now is the best time to start using Linux. There's been tons of improvements in the last 5 years and for example gaming went from a curiosity at best to completely viable and you will not have to use the terminal unless you need to install packages, which shouldn't even be necessary if solely use Flatpak. Hell, there are some things that you can only get on Linux because it's not being developed by retarded pajeets who toy with the codebase like it's their feces.

Like this, what the fuck is this shit? Why is Microsoft making it so cryptic? Why are Windows users so complacent but moan when they have to do something with the terminal?

My dad just sent me a panicked text about getting this off his computer, and this thread was the first Google result. God bless KF, lmfao.
Yeh I just went into Incognito and looked googled how to get rid of it, and this was the third result. I guess I made the title pretty good for SEO, though that wasn’t my original intention
