Maybe you have been playing for years and just want to sperg about fingering or techniques with someone that can understand. Talk about whatever with other musically journeyed niggas right here on this thread.

I've been a guitarist for....lord, I don't know, 20 some-odd years?

Best advice I can give to anyone who wants to be a guitarist is that you need to practice every day. There's no exceptions to that rule, it's a strict one. Make time, this is like working out, practice every day for at minimum an hour. Here's some helpful points.

1. It would be a good idea to get ahead of the game and do practices that involve stretching your pinky finger.
2. Try singing and playing guitar.
3. Don't be a nigger and try to learn Tornado of Souls, you can't do that shit yet. Learn some Johnny Cash. Learning how to write basic songs by learning basic songs is the best skill you can ever develop, even guitarists far above your station don't know how to do that. They sit all day in their basement jacking off and playing Eruption but they couldn't write a song to save their lives and that's why they are still in the basement.
