So if you’re an optimist or even slightly right wing, it seems the only options are to boot up Minecraft and 1. Learn Mandarin or 2. Eat lead. Trillion dollar debt seems to just be the start apparently.
The question becomes, “How long before the flames consume me?”
No, your option right now is to shut up and hope the thought police don't find you. Look at Hong Kong's 'one country, two systems' 'democracy' for a glimpse into your future. Look at Jack Ma. The establishment is not going to allow any dissent, and I would imagine soon even jokingly referencing the "in minecraft" meme is going to get you fired from your job or outright vanned. Have no job? Say goodbye to your autism bux, because no bank is going to want to associate itself with you.

But in more positive news, at least state legislature level GOP have balls. They're pretty much going to be all that's left of the party when the dust is settled. How ironic that a supposed "death by demographics" didn't happen, but a death by an utter unwillingness to win.

lol

Also, Perdue is about to get passed. WHO COULD HAVE POSSIBLY PREDICTED THIS.

I know its a slowboil to keep people comfortable in order to not react but eventually shit is gonna push to shove. You can only fuck people in the ass so much before they flip their lid, which is gonna happen when the comfort eventually runs out.

Honestly, with the pandemic, maybe some attack dogs won’t have to be unleashed because souls are being crushed with how much people are fucked because of the economic crunch, and all the restrictions that come with it.

The PA legislature refusing to seat a Democrat state senator is kinda flipping out in its own little way.

And how long will that go? What’s going to be the thing that sends people over the edge? As long as people have good sports and entertainment past or present to immerse themselves in, people in power can do anything without people complaining.

And I repeat: this is because of a bullshit runoff rule.

"ACKTCHUALLY we need a mulligan because you didn't win by more than 50%! Oh, and on that mulligan, that rule doesn't count when it's even closer!"

Loeffler and Perdue won by far more the first time around. Throwing those results out for this is an out-and-out sham. It's literally "do it again until people vote correctly".

Didn't covid put a stop to sports and like 70% of the entertainment industry's production or am I misremembering shit

Replies in the twitter feed are full of people bitching about the Republicans doing a coup. Lol.

Let's wargame this a bit. Let's say "the people" (translation: Republican voters in a very narrow demographic, either out of work or in low paying jobs; because outside of that demographic you get the "I just need to shut up and not get fired, I have a mortgage to pay" crowd) get fed up and take up arms. Literally form armed gangs that roamed streets.

Who will they shoot first? Let's say that the police are slow to show up and they can pick any target they want. Who? Politicians? Okay, where do they live? Hmmm, gated community, sounds like they won't make it past the gate and even if they do their target will be evacuated ahead of time. And if the target IS there, and they are able to take them alive... then what? What's the plan? ISIS style hostage video? Gonna hold them ransom, not gonna give them back until the elites step down or something?
The police themselves? Yeah, that's great optics. I'm sure the military will join you at that point.
Business leaders? Very tankie of you!
How about their rivals, Antifa types? We all know how well the Proud Boys do, after all!

There is no scenario that leads to the police, military, and financial powers rubbing their chins and saying "Hey, this looks like a group I should get behind".

Okay, state secession. That's a bit more lucid. But here's the rub, there's federal property all over the place in Texas and so forth. Military bases with troops from all over America, led by career officers who are more interested in going from O3 pay grade to O4 than anything else. So what's going to happen? National guard surrounds the military bases? Okay, let's say that happens and the federal troops get the hell out of there - and maybe there's some defections too. Okay, smart guy, what next? Gonna invade neighboring states? Gonna wait for the federal government to come reclaim the state capitol by force? This ain't 1860, they'll be there within a week. What's the plan here?

Sorry, but this doesn't play out well. It's almost as if the whole system since 1865 has been designed to crush another rebellion or something... weird.
🤔

Food shortages. Not right now, but it is likely that they will be on the horizon by at least the end of the year, maybe slightly longer. The lockdowns themselves are contributing to a reduced production of food.

Thats the thing though, these fields of plenty have till the end of 2022. If they dont manage the great reset meme by then their whole house of cards will collapse ontop of them. You can only be a keynesian for this long without wiping the playfield over again.

America produces so much food that 40% of the food supply goes to waste. Think of that. 40% of all food produced goes uneaten in America. And when you have any big food shortage, the country just goes on rationing mode. People will not be starving in the streets. Most restaurants will probably even be open, just with bloated prices.
You will eat the bugs, you will live in the pod, you will be forced to get an Internet ID.

I do know that, but there are already several more people than usual utilizing food banks or whatnot, unless if that is agiprop peddled by the media, which it very well could be.

So, what do we take from this? That evil wins? Because it certainly fucking seems like it. I suppose my main question concerning all of this, is "Why?"

They're going home, not doing any analysis of anything.

A revolution funded and led by who exactly? The military isn't going to fight for Republicans. Their meal ticket is with the federal government, not the states.
The ordinary people With guns? You know? Like every revolution ever. But that's all hypothetical now that the elite have saved their asses... They avoid guillotines for now.
