It's a beautiful thing watching these people who were merching cop pride and "just comply and you won't have any problems" during widespread protests about excessive use of force and police accountability suddenly on the other side. Going to be a real ride for them when they ask for the cop who shot some unarmed lady in the neck to be held accountable then realize that's not going to fucking happen.

It's just really fucking sad that it's come to this. And with the way things have gone, especially in the past year, I don't see this helping anything in the long run.

When I first woke up and read the news about the storming of the Capitol, the first thing I thought to myself was "Well, if Pence hasn't counted the votes already, he is most certainly going to do so now."

This was going to happen anyway, protest or not. Why are you putting any weight into what Pence is going to do, anyway?
