Am I missing something? When the hell did Trump say anything to the effect of "BREAK THE WINDOWS TO CAPITOL HILL AND STORM THE BUILDING"? I know that some in the Trumpist rank-and-file have been clamoring for an activation of the Insurrection Act in order for Trump to stay in power because they don't know what kind of hell that would unleash onto the country all at once, but-- I dunno, maybe I don't use Twitter enough, because I don't recall Trump saying anything even remotely resembling the inciting of a coup. Everyone was preparing for trouble today-- they weren't preparing for a coup that Trump supposedly incited at any point until then.

Trump didn't lay down and die. His supporters staged a Civil Rights era style sit-in inside the Capitol. But this frightened Senators and disrupted proceedings, and clearly that makes this an act of terrorism. Punishments will follow shortly, to remind everyone never to try and fight again.

Here’s the thing about mutually assured destruction: the mutually part. That part is supposed to be the deterrent to let calmer heads prevail. The problem is that at least on the left, there’s more emphasis on the “assured destruction” part, especially on the left when it comes to ANYTHING Trump related. The question becomes how much do you hate your ideological adversary. And the left is more than willing to get blood on their hands, so there’s a chance a leftist will do something like Oklahoma City or New Zealand. In Minecraft. You can get really ambitious in that game.

I suppose that time will tell, but I really think that normies still care about optics. As I said before, if the mainstream media and narrative held no influence over a significant amount of people in this country, then these COVID lockdowns wouldn't have happened as easily or as extensively as they did.

They care about optics now, but what about in a month or so when anyone who supported Trump is declared a racist, terrorist? What about when they start passing legislation to fire/expel anyone from congress that supported him? This only gets worse from here, and the attempts to snuff it out will just make the fire grow.

Theory time: Trump knows Pence is going to cuck, so in advance he uses his remaining connections in DC to set all of this up. The plan goes like this—get thousands of his supporters in DC, bus them in if he has to, and then allow them to storm the Capitol after Capitol Police are quietly told to, "Let them in." Shit get's crazy, and quickly flies out of control. Trump's play was to strong-arm congress and basically say, "I can control this. Can you? Do you want to deal with this for four years?" Unfortunately, Congress was scared so shitless they are beyond reason now. They believe they have to legislate their way out of this and crush the growing dissent which in turn will just make things worse.

Trump will likely get prosecuted at this point and he'll become a martyr for the massive amount of Right-Wing violence that happens over the next decade. Not quite a Civil War at first, but the country will definitely be divided. The start of asymmetrical warfare begins leading into a Days of Rage style soft Civil War.

A Trump supporter wearing a MAGA hat was killed in cold blood over the Summer. The man was targeted and shot dead. It's all on video, and it couldn't be any clearer about what happened. A man literally walked up to a Trump supporter unprovoked, pulled out a gun, and shot him in the head.

I guarantee that most normies don't know that this happened ... Because the media didn't report on it. If anything bad happens to a Trump supporter (especially from this point on), the media will either (a) spin the narrative/flat-out lie about it, or (b) bury it completely so that most people don't see it.

Personally, I think that the thing that's going to "break" the normies are the COVID lockdowns, closed schools, loss of income, grocery store lines, etc. That stuff actually personally affects them, and I believe that once these dense people figure out that Biden swooping in to make COVID disappear is not going to happen, these people will finally break and wake the fuck up about what's going on. These people may seem complacent about a "new normal," but that's only been under the promise that we'll return back to normal eventually, and yet the goal posts just seem to keep moving.

I think that there was fraud happening in the GA runoff (because, DUH). However, what ultimately lead to the loss in GA was McConnell fucking the American people over about the stimulus checks-- something that personally affected them. Once normies smell blood in the water in the Biden administration with the same kind of fuckery, that's when I think the fire is going to increase.
