It's nowhere near October, but one ensemble is already on track to be named the most controversial Halloween costume of 2015.

Social media users were out in full force on Monday criticizing several Halloween retailers for offering a Caitlyn Jenner costume reminiscent of the former-athlete's Vanity Fair cover earlier this year.

While Jenner's supporters condemned the costume as "transphobic" and "disgusting" on Twitter, Spirit Halloween, a retailer that carries the costume, defended the getup.

"At Spirit Halloween, we create a wide range of costumes that are often based upon celebrities, public figures, heroes and superheroes," said Lisa Barr, senior director of marking at Spirit Halloween. "We feel that Caitlyn Jenner is all of the above and that she should be celebrated. The Caitlyn Jenner costume reflects just that."

I
true, i just find it weird as hell that's all

It's weirder than fucking String Theory. It's liquid Tumblr distilled into pure Essence of Weird. It's the type of weird that wrote Mighty Boosh. But at least they're putting their plastic surgeon where their mouth is.

Jesus fucking Christ, FUCK Jesus fucking Christ. Given the infant mortality rates of the time, a fair amount of babies would have been stillborn or died soon after birth, but by no means most of them. They'd have been starved or exposed, or even just thrown on the pile of dead children themselves and left there. I sincerely doubt that any of them would have mercifully smothered.

Those poor babies. Those poor mothers. And sometimes, those poor fathers who never even got to meet the children they made.

Eight hundred. Eight hundred children. I've no doubt that many of the nuns there legit thought that they were doing the right thing, but they were surely outnumbered by the ones who were there because they got off on it. I fucking hate kids and I'm the first one to advocate population control, but there's a hell of a lot of difference between abortion or birth control or else allowing infants born with severe and lifelong disabilities to die peacefully, and killing dozens of infants a year in the name of God and the purification of sin. It reminds you that so many of us are a burka or machine gun away from being Islamists.

What's particularly disgusting, other than that it was done in the name of so-called pro-life Catholicism, is that it was essentially done for profit. They were paid a small stipend by the government for each baby, supposedly to take care of them, but if they just murdered the babies by starving them to death, they got to keep that. These babies were murdered for profit.

The practice used to be called "baby farming," and it was thought to have gone out of practice back in the 19th Century. This shit happened in the time of some still living, though.

Half-Maori/Half-Scottish Zealand First leader signs a Pepe version of himself and gives a decent answer to anyone trying to make him appear as some sort of Racist cause of it.

"A Pepe started off as a pretty innocuous cartoon character and like most modern things they can be distorted, twisted and what-have-you. A guy asked me to, and I know you're going to say that he's racist, well if he's a white racist why would he want Winston Peters to sign his document?" Peters said on Wednesday.

"That's an image that's been used by Trump, anti-Trump, a whole lot of people. It's actually meaningless and for you to say some catastrophic social disaster has occurred because I signed someone's paper - being a nice guy wishing him all the best - is beyond me."

and laughing while the attackers make cruel taunts about her hormone-therapy induced breasts and hurl homophobic insults.
That detail was really important journalism. I am not trying to be insensitive toward this person's death, but girl's in middle school are subject to relentlessly ugly comments about their breast growth regardless of them being too small, too big, or uneven. I hope they catch these men.
