It's nowhere near October, but one ensemble is already on track to be named the most controversial Halloween costume of 2015.

Social media users were out in full force on Monday criticizing several Halloween retailers for offering a Caitlyn Jenner costume reminiscent of the former-athlete's Vanity Fair cover earlier this year.

While Jenner's supporters condemned the costume as "transphobic" and "disgusting" on Twitter, Spirit Halloween, a retailer that carries the costume, defended the getup.

"At Spirit Halloween, we create a wide range of costumes that are often based upon celebrities, public figures, heroes and superheroes," said Lisa Barr, senior director of marking at Spirit Halloween. "We feel that Caitlyn Jenner is all of the above and that she should be celebrated. The Caitlyn Jenner costume reflects just that."

I have acquired a reflex over the past 3 years: whenever I see or hear the word 'fascist' unironically, I disregard anything that comes next.

Also it really steams my walnuts at how these people misunderstand what fascism and a fascist is. There is a literal definition.

Hahaha, come on man. Surely you must realize you can't fucking go nuts in the training simulator like that. I mean "Training Simulator" of course.

Isn't that, if nothing else, insubordination? Don't they get in trouble for failing to salute officers?

Tl;dr version: ORANGE MAN BAD! ORANGE MAN BAD!

If anyone radicalized him, it was Anders Breivik. Take out the memes and shitposting and his manifesto is basically a retread of Breivik's.

I blame our education system here in Britain. It turfs out endless pseudointellectual talent vacuums like the author because telling someone they're wrong or thick is heresy even when it's true. All must have prizes. The OG PC culture of the nineties is back with a vengeance.

I know short replies are frowned upon here. But sometimes you dignify retards by picking apart things so stupid.

If a 7 year old tells me he's king of spain. I say ok buddy and move on. I don't sit down show him a globe explain he's never left this time zone not spanish etc.

So i think ill reply to the author with this.

Youtube, Facebook and Twitter are under sharia law and entire armies of fat dangerhairs spend their days screeching for anyone who isn't left-leaning enough to be deplatformed, but sure, let's accuse social media of being the prime exporters of fascism.

You can never win with those fucks, no amount of censorship and media manipulation is ever enough to satisfy them.

There was a "KKK rally" in my city a few weeks ago. There was a whopping 15 people from a group loosely associated with the KKK standing around court house square, not even saying or doing anything. There were also hundreds of other people protesting them, holding signs, some of them yelling obscenities. I asked one of the "KKK" guys what message they wanted to convey, and he basically said they just want to show that they are proud of their heritage, and they refuse to be intimidated. He didn't even say anything about race. Meanwhile I heard a protester yell something about how they need to be eradicated...there was also a sign that said something about white people's legacy of violence.

Leftists in the U.S. have spun a narrative that the KKK has risen again, and is trying to take over the country and exterminate all non-white people, when the reality is their ranks are as weak as ever, and even self-proclaimed KKK members seldom say anything about killing or hurting anyone. Their beliefs are usually just that they are proud of being white, and don't believe the races should be mixed. That's really it.

Everything 'internet' is American export. You practically invented and shared the means to connect to it. We all learn English to be here and are shamed otherwise. The only reason troon "issues" reach outside America is because people subscribe to the idea that the internet is superior to your immediate surroundings. You can practically measure how indoctrinated people are by Ronald McDonald by how aligned their opinions are with those found online.

If not for the internet, our European youth would probably be using german words instead of english terms every other sentence to be hip.

When I used to play Arma II, there were a bunch of super serious RP servers where you had to talk over voice chat like a real soldier and follow orders and all that. Real heavy autistic shit. I would join and play along for about 10 minutes and then "accidentally" throw a grenade at my whole squad or something stupid like that. It really wouldn't have been all that amusing if it weren't for the reactions I received.

One time I didn't even bother playing along, I joined and spawned in the base while everyone was boarding a helicopter. As soon as the helicopter lifted off I opened fire on the tail rotor from the ground, sending the helicopter into a wild death spin. The voice comms were goddamn hilarious.

Now these guys weren't real soldiers in any real military, just assholes roleplaying. I can only imagine how absolutely amazing it must have been to hear an actual officer in a real military screeching autistically about similar antics.
So.. You joined a niche gaming community and trolled? Almost as special as everyone involved in that article. How is military speak in a simulator context anymore autistic than TOP LANE AP CARRY 3/12/8 RUNES? These people enjoy their little pen-and-paper military exercises and you visit a forum about documenting autism. You're not exactly in a better place.

Might come as a surprise, but ARMA and all those army games are meant to simulate warfare and are used as such. If you spend 3 months being yelled at by a sergeant and is stuck in that whole "bullets actually kill people" mindset, yeah, it'd be pretty fucking weird for you to turn around in a simulator and gun down everyone else. You need to be severely autistic to un-learn all of what the military put you through to go back to your CoD teen days and be an ebin troll xd.

I laughed out loud at the author's claims that Canada is a more "advanced" nation than the United States. There are people here that do not want to admit it, but Canada is a dysfunctional mess of a country that would slit its own throat if it believed that it would receive praise for it.

Amateur hour. We Brits haven't had a functioning government for over two years now and do you know something? Unemployment is down, real terms wages are up, foreign direct investment is up... It's almost as if with nobody in charge there's nobody to fuck things up.

While it's a funny story, I don't see a problem with how it unfolded.

Soldier screws around to the amusement of his peers, loses a weekend because of it. Funny, and I'm glad it's here where it belongs.
